INTRO
Ciao! I'm Sabine and Italy holds a special place in my heart. This beautiful country constantly inspires me with its rich culture and delicious culinary traditions. I have been importing the finest Italian artisan products to Belgium for 25 years and now I have lost my heart to a typical cottage in Puglia called Alcova Cellini.
Alcova Cellini is a small charming house located in the heart of Cisternino's historic centre, two steps from the central piazza Vittorio Emanuele, where you have the coffee bar Barfod, with a lovely terrace for breakfast, and the pasticceria Cioccolab for sweet mouths. In short, in the nearby streets of the charming cottage you will find everything. The best pizzeria, the fragrant braceria, the blissful trattoria, cosy bars and gourmet restaurants. And you can make it your holiday spot! You'll linger in the small, neat streets of the white town of Cisternino, bustling with fine businesses and friendly, warm-hearted, local people.

Cisternino is very centrally located, is one hour and fifteen minutes‘ drive from Bari and forty minutes’ drive from Brindisi airport. Twenty minutes from the seaside town of Torre Canne on the Adriatic coast, thirty minutes from the beautiful bustling seaside town of Monopoli, with plenty of culture and gastronomy, and an hour and twenty drive from Trani, with its very famous cathedral built quasi into the sea. It is also an ideal starting point to go and see Alberobello, the town of a thousand trulli, and also to visit Matera in Basilicata. Have you heard of the Maldives of Puglia? This is the coast on the Ionian Sea, the other side of the Adriatic with its white sandy beaches where the fish tickle your feet. This is also where the city of Taranto is located. Lecce and Gallipolli should also not be missing from your ‘to do’ list.
